Social
Kindermusik gives children the opportunity
to develop social skills and build
relationships with other children their own
age while enjoying music.

Cognitive
Current research has proven that tapping a
steady beat, balancing, and patterning will
help children later on in math, reading,
problem solving, and concentration.

Emotional
Music of all kinds is good for the soul of
children everywhere.

Physical
We move around a lot! Moving develops
body awareness, coordination, and spatial
relationships through synchronized and
creative movement, and simple dances.

Musical
Kindermusik introduces your child to
rhythms, instruments, singing, dance, and
a wide variety of musical styles.

Language
Language skills are developed and honed
through exposure to literature (an important
component of the curriculum). Children
also explore vocal sounds and singing,
which foster the development of your child’s
first and most important instrument
—the voice!

Kindermusik is a revolutionary program based on the observation that music is a powerful stimulant for children's learning—and lots of fun, too! Kindermusik is one of the best choices you can make for your growing child, accelerating growth and achievment over the whole spectrum of development. Our proven methodology is built on the work and experience of respected educators and researchers, and all curricula adhere to the standards set forth by MENC (Music Educators National Conference).

Kindermusik International maintains an active consultancy with contemporary child development experts who advise the curricula development from start to finish. One unique feature is the Foundations of Learning, which are presented to parents at every class. These Foundations of Learning (FOL’s) are rooted in the works of early childhood development experts like Piaget, Montessori, Vvogtsky, Greenspan, and Brazleton. The FOLs help parents understanding the development that is taking place during carefully designed class activities.

But don’t forget, even though so much research and expertise go into the program, it’s also great fun for both children and parents! There are few things so naturally social and stimulating for people of all ages as enjoying—and making!—music and song together.

I invite you to use my site to explore the many reasons why Kindermusik is adored by children, parents and educators alike!
