Joyful Music Making
Through a careful process of preparation, presentation and practice, children between 5 and 7 years of age are now introduced to the written language of music. Kindermusik for the Young Child® provides a unique opportunity for children to explore a percussion or pre-keyboard instrument (glockenspiel), a stringed instrument (two-string dulcimer), and a wood instrument (recorder). All activities are age-appropriate and designed to encourage a love of music. The curriculum is not meant to be an end product, but rather a bridge between the musical play of early childhood and a more formal musical training.
